GLP-1 / Metabolic Peptide Testing
GLP-1 receptor agonists and dual/triple agonists are long, lipidated peptides that are difficult to synthesize cleanly. Truncated sequences, deamidation products, and free fatty-acid side chains are common — and they are often undetectable without proper RP-HPLC method development and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
Recommended Panel
- ✓RP-HPLC purity (UV 214 nm)
- ✓LC-MS/MS identity (Orbitrap)
- ✓Counter-ion / residual TFA
- ✓Water content (KF)
- ✓Endotoxin (LAL, USP <85>)
Common Impurities to Watch For
Truncated sequences (des-Aib, des-His), deamidated isomers, free C18 diacid chain, oxidation products, and counter-ion variability (acetate vs. TFA).
